About The NDIS

What Is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s first National Scheme for people with disabilities. It aims to offer protection and support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability as well as their families and careers.

Why Apply For NDIS?

The NDIS contributes to people who have permanent and significant disability with funding for support and services. It also helps people with disabilities in offering connections such as doctors, sporting clubs, and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.

Am I eligible?

The official NDIS website has a quick checklist to help identify if you are eligible to be part of us. Kindly answer some of the simple questions in the checklist to see if you may be able to apply for the NDIS. These questions are just a guide, the final decision about eligibility is up to the NDIA.
